The Ann Arbor T-shirt Company is proud to design, print, and embroider the majority of our products completely in our Ann Arbor, MI factory. Our journey began as a dorm room project between two friends at the University of Michigan. What makes our products unique is our commitment to fair wages, healthcare, 401k matches, and meals for our workers, as well as using U.S.-sourced machines, inks, and mostly U.S. cotton. Producing in-house allows us to maintain high quality and keep prices low.

Our products feature a classic, unisex fit - slightly boxy, to fit middle-aged men comfortably. The model photos showcase the actual shirts on our salesman, Rich, who stands 6'2" and weighs 200 lbs, wearing a large.

The fabric used is a 50/50 cotton-polyester blend in a heavy 6oz knit. For our hunting apparel, we use a high visibility safety (blaze) orange fabric to help keep hunters safe and compliant with local regulations.

We use high-quality QCM screen printing inks, manufactured in Pineville, North Carolina. These inks are vibrant, durable, and highly crack-resistant. Some of our designs are intentionally faded or cracked, but our inks always deliver the desired effect.

QCM has been an industry leader in safe chemistry, going phthalate-free over ten years ago. Their inks are also CFC-free and rated as carcinogen-free by the state of California. We use top-of-the-line printing presses and ovens made by M&R in Illinois to ensure the best possible quality.
